This Victoria, BC, Canada accommodation is a gracious 1912 Victorian home, built in the style made popular by Samuel Mclure. The home was converted and originally called the Newport Inn. It’s innkeepers have been hosting travelers to Victoria since 1922.

The Oriental Suite
The Oriental Suite, located on the main floor of The Oak Bay Guest House, just off the Fireside Lounge, provides a lovely view of the herb garden. The bedroom has a queen size bed and a full ensuite bathroom with a bathtub/shower, sink and toilet.
There is also a small porch where one might enjoy the afternoon sun.

The Oak Bay Guest House is located on Newport Ave, South Oak Bay and is just a short walk from the beautiful ocean views across The Straits of Juan de Fuca to Washington State and Mt Baker. The Oak Bay Marina with its resident seals and otters, offers a number of sea based activities such as fishing, kayaking and sailing. The Marina cafe and renowned seafood restaurant are just a 2 minute walk from the Guesthouse. The Oak Bay Beach Hotel and its fine dining restaurants and spa are also only 2 blocks away. Oak Bay also features a number of walking trails to explore the fabulous gardens and old houses in the area. The downtown and Inner Harbour areas are a 10 minute drive or an easy Number 2 bus ride away.
