The Door Code

Often, guests worry about losing the door code and disturbing us at night (we have no "curfew"). I reassure them that even having a door code does not guarantee you will get into the house.

One day, a group of friends were celebrating one of their peer's birthdays. At 3:30 a.m., the doobell rang. Grabbing a housecoat, I ran up to the door and was surprised to find my guests standing awkwardly by the door. Opening up, I apologized if I had neglected to give them the door code. Their response was "No - so shorry, but we couldn't read the numbers"! !!!
