Within walking distance from our Bed and Breakfast in Victoria you will find the Oak Bay Marina, Windsor Tea Rooms and Oak Bay Village. Also close by are are beaches, parks, golfing and many other activities.
A short drive, taxi or bus to downtown can fill your day with shopping, sites, sounds, and tastes of unique Victoria, one of the most popular cities to visit in the world.

Below are driving directions to help you find your way here:

From Swartz Bay Ferry
Follow the direction signs indicating the way to Victoria which is Highway 17 which becomes Blandshard St in Victoria. When in the city look for and turn left into Johnson St which is a one way street. Proceed along Johnson and get into the right hand lane as the road to Oak Bay will exit to the right. Johnson will become Oak Bay Ave. Carry on along through the Oak Bay Village and Oak Bay Ave will become Newport Avenue, go to the right at a Y junction. Proceed along until you come to the Guest House at 1052 Newport on your right.

It will take about 35 minutes to get from Swartz Bay to us in Oak Bay. We suggest that you pick up a map of Victoria when you are on the ferry.

From the Victoria International Airport
Follow the direction signs indicating the way to Victoria. You will turn right into Highway 17 which becomes Blandshard St in Victoria. It will take about 35 minutes to get from the Airport to us in Oak Bay.

From the Victoria Clipper Landing
When the ferry comes into the Inner Harbour you will be greeted by the Empress Hotel directly in front and the Legislative Assembly Building to the right. It may be and idea to take a taxi to Our House when you first arrive as you will no doubt have a bit of luggage to look after, the trip will cost about $10.00. Or you may just as easily take a BC Transit Bus from the East side of Douglas St, right behind the Hotel. Make sure you take the #2 Oakbay and have the right change, $1.75 CDN. The bus will take about 15 minutes and they run every half hour.

From the Black Ball Ferry (Coho) Dock in the Inner Harbour
When you come off the ferry turn left into Belleville St and proceed east across Government and Douglas streets, the road will curve to the left and as it does it becomes Blanshard. Proceed along in the right hand lane and turn right into Fort St. and follow it until you come to Oak Bay Ave and turn right. Carry on along Oak Bay Ave through the Oak Bay Village and Oak Bay Ave will become Newport Avenue, go to the right at a Y junction. Proceed along until you come to the Guest House at 1052 Newport on your right.

It will take about eight minutes to get from downtown to us in Oak Bay. We suggest that you pick up a map of Victoria when you are on the ferry.
